Meet Mrs. Brembry
Dedra Brembry is a product of Dallas ISD and a proud alumna of Texas Woman’s University and Amberton University. She has been an educator for 25 years, working with all grade levels. Mrs. Brembry began her education career in 2000 at Maynard H. Jackson Vanguard School, where she taught 4th and 5th grade ELA and Social Studies. In 2004, she began her school counselor career in FWISD at S. S. Dillow Elementary School, and in 2011, moved to William James Middle School. Mrs. Brembry served as the lead counselor at William James for 9 years, and as a Mighty Bear, she loved working in the after-school program as the dance, arts and crafts, and cooking teacher, where she could continue to build strong relationships with her students. In 2021, Mrs. Brembry joined Metro Opportunity HS as the MS counselor. She is now the MS and HS counselor servicing all students’ academic and emotional needs.
Outside of the educational walls, Mrs. Brembry is a proud wife, daughter, and tita! She is an author, speaker, and CAMS-I Anger Management Instructor, always ready to pour into others. She loves to watch her favorite shows, travel, and try new foods and restaurants!
Mrs. Brembry has a heart for encouraging her students. Her favorite quote is, “Begin with the end in mind.” Simply put, start with the goal in mind and work your way to the finish line! When you can see it, you can achieve it!
